Constansia Mbogoma
Director
Constansia Mbogoma is the Director of Capacitar Tanzania. She first became involved with Capacitar Tanzania in 2002 and took over as Director in 2005. She has a Diploma in Education from the University of Dar Es Salaam’s College of Education and has worked at both public and private schools over the course of her teaching career. In addition to serving as Director of Capacitar Tanzania, she serves as an Assessor on the Mwanza Region’s Lands and Housing Tribunal.

Mary Mujemula

Mary Mujamela comes to Capacitar with 37 years of teaching experience. She earned her Certificate in Teaching from Morogoro Teacher's College and over the course of her career has taught at numerous Primary schools in the Mwanza area. Mary first became involved with Capacitar in 2005. Her primary focus at Capacitar is working with children's groups though she provides support in all aspects of the organization. Mary says "I like Capacitar because I have met many people and have learned many things. It has kept me healthy."

Sr. Genie Natividad
Volunteer
Sr. Genie, a Maryknoll Sister, joined the Capacitar staff in January 2013 after working in Morogoro, TZ for several years. After studying Psychology for several years, Sr. Genie worked as a lay missioner in Turkana, Kenya with the Community of St. Paul the Apostle. She joined the Maryknoll Sisters in 2007 and was assigned to Tanzania in 2010. Sr. Genie says she would like to “contribute to the holistic healing ministry of women and children and also be enriched as I learn from the people.”

Christopher Reid

Christopher Reid is a Maryknoll Lay Missioner from the United States. He earned a Masters in Social Work in 2009 and began working with Capacitar in 2012. Chris works with the cooperative groups supported by Capacitar Tanzania as well as providing general logistical support for the organization. He says he's "happy to work with Capacitar and to have the chance to help strengthen the cooperatives with whom we work. Empowering people, especially women, to improve their lives is exactly what Capacitar was created to do."
